What the service does

RivalFiled sends you a weekly email of new US patent application publications that name a competitor on your watchlist, or a reviewed variant of its name, as applicant or assignee and carry a CPC code in a subclass you chose.

The data comes from the patent application publications the USPTO releases each week. We show the bibliographic fields as published: publication number, publication date, title, CPC codes, and applicant and assignee companies.

What it is not

RivalFiled gives information. It is not legal advice and it is not a freedom-to-operate search. It does not say what a publication covers.

The weekly email lists what matched your watchlist in the USPTO's weekly file. We make no claim that it is complete. Applications that are not yet published, granted patents and publications outside the US are not covered.

The USPTO's weekly file can be late. When it is, we send you an email that the data is delayed. When the file arrives and is matched, your weekly summary is sent in a separate email.

Plans

There are two plans, Free and Premium. The limits of each plan on competitor names, CPC subclasses and match history are listed under Pricing on the home page.

Payment is not open yet.

Unsubscribing and erasing your account

Every weekly email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the weekly emails.

To have your account erased, write to us as described on the Privacy page.
